Before beginning open key fob make sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: flat head screwdriver and 2 CR2016 batteries.- flat head screwdriver

Simple steps to change the battery in your Voyager's keyless entry remote
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed button cell battery. Delicately try to pry apart your remote key fob with flat head screwdriver. Remove two CR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old batteries with fresh one CR2016. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was an old. Your key will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that all functions works by pressing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your keyless entry remote case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
