How to Replace the Battery in a 1991 Toyota MR2 Key Fob

What kind of battery key fob require
Before starting disassembly keyless entry remote be sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: 1 CR2025 battery, phillips head screwdriver and flat head screwdriver.- phillips head screwdriver

Simple steps to change the battery in your MR2's key fob
Inside of your remote key fob installed button cell battery. Remove fasteners on the back of the key fob. Flip the key fob over and find for at least 1 screw holding in the plastic.
Accurately try to disassemble your fob with flat head screwdriver. Replace 1xCR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2025. Battery must be placed with the same position as was an old. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, verify remote key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to assemble the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Check your remote key fob case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step. Screw the back of the remote key fob.
