How to Replace the Battery in a 1991 Toyota Supra Key Fob

Before starting open remote key fob check all that you need: phillips head screwdriver, flat head screwdriver and 1 CR2025 battery.- flat head screwdriver

- phillips head screwdriver
Step by step guide
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed coin cell battery. Remove fasteners on the back of the keyless entry remote. Spin the keyless entry remote over and look for at least 1 screw holding in the plastic.
Delicately try to open your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove 1 CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside keyless entry fob's shell. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key fob will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, check key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to put the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step. Screw the back of the key fob.
