How to Replace the Battery in a 1992 GMC Syclone Key Fob

Step by step instruction
Inside of your remote key fob installed button battery. Carefully try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with flat head screwdriver. Remove 2xCR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Change old batteries with new one CR2016. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new batteries installed, check key fob by pressing buttons. If everything working properly, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to put the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. If your keyless entry remote body tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
