A coin cell battery installed inside the your key fob. Remove fasteners on the back of the remote key fob. Spin the remote key fob over and find for at least one fastener holding in the plastic.
Gently try to pry apart your key fob with pry tools. Remove CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR2025. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that all functions works by testing buttons on keyless entry remote.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Check your key body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step. Screw fastener in the back of the keyless entry remote.
