How to Replace the Battery in a 1993 BMW 3-Series Key Fob

If your car key fob is no longer open doors correct, the battery probably needs to be replaced. Below, we outlined how to disassembly your car key fob and change your BMW key battery step by step.
What kind of battery keyless entry remote require
Before beginning disassembly remote key fob check all that you need: one CR2025 battery, phillips head screwdriver and flat head screwdriver.- flat head screwdriver

Simple steps to replace the battery in your 3-Series's remote key fob
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed button cell battery. Remove fasteners on the back of the keyless entry remote. Spin the remote key fob over and find for at least one screw holding in the plastic.
Accurately try to pry apart your remote key fob with pry tools. Remove 1 CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2025. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, make sure that all functions works by pressing buttons on key fob.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your shell pieces together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step. Screw fastener in the back of the remote key fob.
