How to Open Your 1993 Chevrolet Silverado Key Fob and Change Battery

Prior to disassembly key fob check all that you need: flat head screwdriver and 2 CR2016 batteries.- 2xCR2016 batteries

Step by step instruction
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed coin cell battery. Delicately try to disassemble your key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change 2xCR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Change old batteries with fresh one CR2016. Battery must be installed with the same position as was a previous. Your key fob will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
When the new batteries installed, check key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. If your key case firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
