How to Replace the Battery in a 1993 Chevrolet Suburban Key Fob

If your auto key fob isn't open doors perfectly, the battery probably needs to be changed. In this case, we demonstrate how to disassembly your keyless entry remote and change a weak or dead battery DIY. Don't forget before open remote key fob make sure that you have all required tools and materials: 2 CR2016 batteries and flat head screwdriver.- 2xCR2016 batteries

Step by step instruction
A coin battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Carefully try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with pry tools. Remove CR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Change old batteries with new one CR2016. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that all functions works by pressing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your keyless entry remote case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
