Simple steps to change the battery in your car's key fob
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed small button cell battery. Accurately try to disassemble your keyless entry remote with pry tools. Remove 2xCR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old batteries with fresh one CR2016. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your key fob will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
When the new batteries installed, verify remote key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
