Simple steps to change the battery in your Taurus's keyless entry remote
A button battery installed in the your key fob. Accurately try to disassemble your keyless entry remote with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace 2 CR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old batteries with new one CR2016. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was an old. Your key will not work if you by mistake place battery wrong way.
After the new batteries installed, check key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
