Simple steps to change the battery in your Accord's key fob
A coin cell battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Remove screw on the back of the keyless entry remote. Spin the remote key fob over and look for at least 1 screw holding in the plastic.
Accurately try to pry apart your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2025. Battery must be installed with the same position as was a previous. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, check that all working properly by testing buttons on key fob.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case two halves together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. If your fob body firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw the back of the remote key fob.
