Simple steps to change the battery in your car's remote key fob
Inside of your key fob installed small button battery. Delicately try to disassemble your key fob with pry tools. Change two CR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Get new batteries and install it in keyless entry fob's shell. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new batteries installed, check key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to put the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. If your fob case firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
