How to Replace the Battery in a 1994 Mazda B2300 Key Fob

Key fob allow easy access to your car. Once the remote key fob battery is dead or weak you’ll lose your keyless entry fob's ability to use remote opportunities. Below, we are going to tell you how to open your key fob and replace a discharged battery yourself. If you choose to do it at home near B2300, use this guide, but first make sure you have all you need before you start.

Don't forget before open remote key fob make sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: 2xCR2016 batteries and flat head screwdriver.- 2xCR2016 batteries

Step by step instruction
Inside of your key fob installed small coin battery. Carefully try to pry apart your fob with pry tools. Change 2 CR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new batteries in fob’s shell. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, make sure that all functions works by testing buttons on key fob.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. If your key body firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
