Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny coin cell battery. Delicately try to pry apart your remote key fob with flat head screwdriver. Change CR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Get new batteries and install it in keyless entry fob's shell. Battery must be placed with the same position as was a previous. Your key fob will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
After the new batteries installed, verify key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to assemble the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your remote key fob case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
