Simple steps to replace the battery in your LHS's keyless entry remote
Inside of your remote key fob installed tiny coin cell battery. Carefully try to disassemble your remote key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace two CR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Get new batteries and install it in fob’s case. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new batteries installed, verify remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case pieces together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. If your key shell firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
