Simple steps to change the battery in your Contour's key fob
A tiny coin battery installed in the your key fob. Gently try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with flat head screwdriver. Change 2xCR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Get new batteries and install it in keyless entry fob's shell. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that all working good by testing buttons on key fob.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. If your key body tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
