Before you start to open key fob make sure that you have all required tools and materials: 2 CR2016 batteries and flat head screwdriver.- 2xCR2016 batteries

Simple steps to change the battery in your car's remote key fob
A coin cell battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Carefully try to disassemble your key fob with pry tools. Remove two CR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Get new batteries and install it in keyless entry fob's case. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new batteries installed, check keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your fob case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
