What kind of battery key fob require
Replacing batteries in keyless entry remote require 2 CR2016 batteries and flat head screwdriver. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the size of your keyless entry fob's batteries.- flat head screwdriver

Simple steps to change the battery in your car's remote key fob
A small coin battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Accurately try to open your key fob with pry tools. Replace 2xCR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new batteries inside fob’s case. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new batteries installed, check key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your shell pieces together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key fob shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
