Simple steps to change the battery in your car's key fob
A coin battery installed in the your remote key fob. Unscrew the back of the key fob. Spin the key fob over and look for at least one fastener holding in the plastic.
Delicately try to disassemble your keyless entry remote with pry tools. Change one CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR2025. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was an old. Your key will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that all working fine by testing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your body two halves together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step. Screw fastener in the back of the key fob.
