Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's key fob
Inside of your remote key fob installed small coin cell battery. Delicately try to disassemble your key fob with flat head screwdriver. Replace 2xCR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Get new batteries and install it inside fob’s shell. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was an old. Your remote key fob will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that all functions works by testing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key fob body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
