Simple steps to change the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
Inside of your key fob installed small coin cell battery. Remove screw on the back of the remote key fob. Spin the keyless entry remote over and look for at least one screw holding in the plastic.
Accurately try to pry apart your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove one CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in fob’s shell. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key fob will not work if you put battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your keyless entry fob's case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your keyless entry remote body tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw the back of the keyless entry remote.
