Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
Inside of your remote key fob installed tiny coin cell battery. Delicately try to disassemble your keyless entry remote with flat head screwdriver. Change 2 CR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old batteries with new one CR2016. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key will not work if you place battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that everything is functioning by pressing buttons on remote key fob.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case two halves together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your fob shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
