Before starting open key fob make sure that you have all required tools and materials: CR2016 batteries and flat head screwdriver.- 2xCR2016 batteries

Simple steps to replace the battery in your Ram's remote key fob
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed small button battery. Accurately try to open your remote key fob with pry tools. Replace two CR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Get new batteries and install it in keyless entry fob's case. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key fob will not work if you put battery wrong way.
After the new batteries installed, check keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If everything working properly, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your shell pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your keyless entry remote shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
