Simple steps to change the battery in your car's remote key fob
Inside of your key fob installed coin cell battery. Delicately try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with pry tools. Change two CR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Change old batteries with new one CR2016. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new batteries installed, check remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your remote key fob shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
