How to Replace the Battery in a 1996 Honda Odyssey Key Fob

If your Honda key isn't open doors perfectly, the cell battery likely needs to be replaced. It's not difficult to change the battery in your keyless entry remote by yourself. All you need is outlined in this article.
What type battery key fob require
Before starting disassembly key fob check all that you need: phillips head screwdriver, one CR2025 battery and flat head screwdriver.- phillips head screwdriver

- 1xCR2025 battery
Step by step instruction
A small coin battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Remove screw on the back of the remote key fob. Flip the keyless entry remote over and find for at least 1 screw holding in the plastic.
Carefully try to pry apart your remote key fob with flat head screwdriver. Replace 1 CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2025. Battery must be placed with the same position as was an old. Your key will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case pieces together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step. Screw the back of the keyless entry remote.
