Step by step instruction
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny button cell battery. Remove fasteners on the back of the key fob. Spin the key fob over and look for at least 1 fastener holding in the plastic.
Delicately try to disassemble your keyless entry remote with flat head screwdriver. Remove 1 CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in keyless entry fob's shell. Battery must be installed with the same position as was a previous. Your remote key fob will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your body pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key fob body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step. Screw the back of the keyless entry remote.
