Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's key fob
A small coin battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Delicately try to pry apart your key fob with flat head screwdriver. Replace 2xCR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Get new batteries and install it inside keyless entry fob's case. Battery must be installed with the same position as was an old. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
After the new batteries installed, check keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your body two halves together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
