Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's remote key fob
Inside of your remote key fob installed button cell battery. Remove fasteners on the back of the key fob. Spin the keyless entry remote over and look for at least one screw holding in the plastic.
Accurately try to disassemble your keyless entry remote with pry tools. Replace one CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in fob’s body. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, verify remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to put the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. If your key body firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw fastener in the back of the keyless entry remote.
