Simple steps to change the battery in your Corolla's remote key fob
A tiny button battery installed in the your remote key fob. Unscrew the back of the key fob. Flip the key fob over and look for at least one fastener holding in the plastic.
Carefully try to disassemble your key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove 1xCR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2025. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was an old. Your remote key fob will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If everything working fine, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case two halves together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step. Screw fastener in the back of the keyless entry remote.
