How to Replace the Battery in a 1997 Acura CL Key Fob

If your CL key is not unlock doors well, the cell battery most likely must to be changed. In this article, we described how to disassembly your car key fob and replace your Acura key battery step by step.
What type battery keyless entry remote require
Don't forget before disassembly remote key fob make sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: phillips head screwdriver, flat head screwdriver and CR2025 battery.- flat head screwdriver

Step by step instruction
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed small button battery. Remove fasteners on the back of the keyless entry remote. Spin the key fob over and look for at least one screw holding in the plastic.
Carefully try to disassemble your fob with pry tools. Remove 1xCR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2025. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check remote key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. If your key fob shell firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw fastener in the back of the keyless entry remote.
