How to Replace the Battery in a 1997 Chevrolet Camaro Key Fob

Step by step guide
Inside of your key fob installed small button cell battery. Accurately try to pry apart your key with pry tools. Replace one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2032. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you by mistake place battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to assemble the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your keyless entry remote body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
