How to Replace the Battery in a 1997 Chrysler LHS Key Fob

Simple steps to change the battery in your LHS's remote key fob
A button cell battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Gently try to disassemble your remote key fob with flat head screwdriver. Change CR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old batteries with new one CR2016. Battery must be placed with the same position as was a previous. Your remote key fob will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
When the new batteries installed, verify key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to assemble the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your keyless entry remote case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
