Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's remote key fob
A button cell battery installed in the your remote key fob. Gently try to disassemble your key with pry tools. Replace CR1620 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new batteries in fob’s shell. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new batteries installed, verify remote key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your shell pieces together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. If your remote key fob body tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
