Simple steps to change the battery in your E-150's keyless entry remote
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed button battery. Accurately try to disassemble your remote key fob with flat head screwdriver. Remove 2xCR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new batteries inside fob’s shell. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was an old. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you by mistake place battery wrong way.
After the new batteries installed, check remote key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your body two halves together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Check your fob body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
