What type battery key fob require
Before going to disassembly remote key fob be sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: CR2016 batteries and flat head screwdriver.- flat head screwdriver

Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's key fob
Inside of your key fob installed tiny button battery. Gently try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change 2 CR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Change old batteries with fresh one CR2016. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your remote key fob will not work if you put battery wrong way.
After the new batteries installed, check remote key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. If your key fob case firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
