Simple steps to replace the battery in your Cougar's remote key fob
A coin battery installed in the your key fob. Accurately try to pry apart your key with pry tools. Change 2xCR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Change old batteries with new one CR2016. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, make sure that all functions works by pressing buttons on key fob.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. If your key fob case tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
