Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
A small coin battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Gently try to disassemble your fob with flat head screwdriver. Replace CR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old batteries with fresh one CR2016. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new batteries installed, check key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your shell pieces together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
