How to Replace the Battery in a 1997 Saturn SW2 Key Fob

Step by step instruction
Inside of your remote key fob installed small button cell battery. Delicately try to open your fob with pry tools. Remove 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2032. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, check that everything is functioning by testing buttons on keyless entry remote.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to assemble the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
