1997 Toyota Land Cruiser Key Fob Battery Replacement Instructions

What kind of battery remote key fob require
Replacing battery in keyless entry remote require phillips head screwdriver, 1xCR2025 battery and flat head screwdriver. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the type of your fob’s batteries.- phillips head screwdriver

Step by step guide
A tiny coin battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Remove fasteners on the back of the key fob. Flip the remote key fob over and find for at least one screw holding in the plastic.
Carefully try to pry apart your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change 1 CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR2025. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was an old. Your key fob will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your shell pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your remote key fob shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step. Screw fastener in the back of the key fob.
