Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's key fob
A coin battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Remove fasteners on the back of the keyless entry remote. Flip the key fob over and look for at least one screw holding in the plastic.
Delicately try to disassemble your key with pry tools. Replace CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2025. Battery must be installed with the same position as was a previous. Your key fob will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case pieces together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. If your key fob shell tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw fastener in the back of the keyless entry remote.
