1998 Chrysler Voyager Key Fob Battery Replacement Guide

What type battery key fob require
Prior to open key fob be sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: two CR2016 batteries and flat head screwdriver.- 2xCR2016 batteries

Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's key fob
A tiny button battery installed in the your key fob. Carefully try to pry apart your fob with flat head screwdriver. Remove CR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old batteries with new one CR2016. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your key fob will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
When the new batteries installed, check keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If everything working properly, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your key fob case firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
