1998 GMC Yukon Key Fob Battery Replacement Instructions
Key fob grant access to your GMC. Once the keyless entry remote battery is weak you lose your keyless entry fob's ability to control remote functions. In this post, we outlined how to disassembly your key fob and change your GMC key battery step by step.
What is the battery keyless entry remote use
Prior to disassembly key fob check all that you need: 1xCR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver.- 1xCR2032 battery

Step by step instruction
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny coin battery. Delicately try to pry apart your key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in keyless entry fob's shell. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you by mistake place battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, check that all functions works by testing buttons on key fob.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. If your remote key fob body tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
