Simple steps to replace the battery in your Rodeo's keyless entry remote
A tiny button cell battery installed in the your remote key fob. Remove screw on the back of the key fob. Spin the remote key fob over and look for at least 1 screw holding in the plastic.
Carefully try to pry apart your key fob with pry tools. Change CR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Change old batteries with new one CR2016. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, check that everything is functioning by pressing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to assemble the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your fob shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step. Screw the back of the key fob.
