Simple steps to change the battery in your car's key fob
A coin cell battery installed in the your key fob. Gently try to open your key with pry tools. Replace CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside fob’s body. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If everything working properly, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your body pieces together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. Check your keyless entry remote case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
