How to Replace the Battery in a 1998 Mercedes-Benz E320 Key Fob

What kind of battery remote key fob use
Before going to open key fob make sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: flat head screwdriver and two CR2025 batteries.- 2xCR2025 batteries

Step by step instruction
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny coin cell battery. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Delicately try to pry apart your remote key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace 2 CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Change old batteries with fresh one CR2025. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that everything working good by pressing buttons on keyless entry remote.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your remote key fob case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
