Simple steps to change the battery in your car's remote key fob
Inside of your key fob installed small button cell battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the remote key fob.
Carefully try to pry apart your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace two CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old batteries with new one CR2025. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new batteries installed, verify remote key fob by pressing buttons. If everything working good, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to assemble the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your keyless entry remote body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
