Step by step guide
A small button battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Gently try to open your key fob with flat head screwdriver. Replace 1 CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in keyless entry fob's shell. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your keyless entry remote body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
