Before starting disassembly remote key fob check all that you need: one CR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver.- 1xCR2032 battery

Simple steps to change the battery in your Firebird's remote key fob
A small coin cell battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Gently try to disassemble your remote key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2032. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your remote key fob will not work if you put battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, check remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your body pieces together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
