Simple steps to change the battery in your car's remote key fob
A tiny coin cell battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Carefully try to disassemble your fob with flat head screwdriver. Replace 2 CR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Get new batteries and install it in keyless entry fob's case. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that all functions works by testing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Check your keyless entry remote case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
