How to Replace the Battery in a 1998 Toyota Celica Key Fob

Changing battery in keyless entry remote require phillips head screwdriver, flat head screwdriver and 1 CR2025 battery. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the type of your keyless entry fob's batteries.- phillips head screwdriver

Step by step instruction
A coin battery installed in the your key fob. Remove screw on the back of the keyless entry remote. Flip the keyless entry remote over and look for at least one fastener holding in the plastic.
Delicately try to open your fob with flat head screwdriver. Change 1xCR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in keyless entry fob's shell. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, verify that all functions works by pressing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case two halves together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your remote key fob case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step. Screw the back of the remote key fob.
